Volunteer Now to Preserve Palm Beach County's Rich African-American History

Join us in establishing a special Library/Museum dedicated to the vibrant heritage of Palm Beach County's Black pioneers. This initiative aims to preserve and showcase the remarkable experiences of resilience and achievement by the African Diaspora in shaping Palm Beach County's development. It covers the area from the east, formerly known as the Styx (now the Town of Palm Beach), to West Palm Beach, the Glades, south to Boca Raton (Pearl City), and north to West Jupiter.

We invite passionate individuals who recognize the significance of preserving this valuable history to step forward. Your commitment to dedicating time and expertise will be instrumental in creating a place where residents can learn, grow, and celebrate these impactful stories.

Volunteers are needed in various capacities:

  • Grant Writing

  • Technology

  • Social Media Marketing

  • Fundraising

  • Research

  • Interviewing Skills

  • Digitization

  • Videography

Take action now and be part of preserving and sharing this invaluable heritage. Join our cause by volunteering your skills and contributing to the legacy of Palm Beach County's African-American history.

The African American Research Library and Cultural Center of Palm Beach County, Inc. is requesting your dedication and time.
